What is an Alter? I was at an event Saturday and they had an Alter Call. Around 45 people responded to this. It didnt set well with me. There is no Alter Call or Sinners Prayer in the Bible and God spoke to my heart as to what an Alter is for. It is to bring your sacrifice to the Lord and Lay it on the Alter and it will be consumed by the Lord if it is acceptable. Are the ones responding to the Alter call responding in the correct way? re they being instructed on what an Alter is for. It is for Killing. Are they really ready to "Kill" their old selves to be reborn? Are they ready to do that everyday? Romans 12:1 tells us to offer ourselves a living Sacrifice Holy acceptable to the Lord. If they have a wrong understanding of what the Alter is for they are committing a Great offense in Gods sight. Please...if you are a minister of the Gospel..please...PLEASE present the FULL Gospel of Salvation to the unsaved to prevent False Converts and in so adding tares to the wheat of your localcongregation.
